This serum has active ingredients in it and should be applied with caution. If you have very sensitive skin, please test this serum on a small area of your face/hand. If no irritation occurs, use a small amount to begin at night twice a week and increase applications as tolerated. Helped my rosacea overnight??

Hope I don't jinx my good luck by reviewing early. The 1st time I tried it, my rosacea flared up so I was disappointed, but then I realized that my rosacea was doing its thing where it hates everything for a period of time. After I finally got it to calm a bit, I tried this again last night...and my skin this morning was so smooth and my stubborn pustules that have stayed angry for weeks are significantly smaller and less red, and my smaller closed comedones-looking rosacea pustules were also less raised. This was the only thing I used on my face last night other than my normal hydrating serum so I think it must be the cause. I'm really hopeful.

Regardless of how this works long-term, $25 is an insane steal for the quality of these ingredients. I have been searching forever for a vitamin C + tranexamic acid serum that doesn't include Niacinamide (which is in everything these days, though more and more people are realizing they have sensitivities), and isn't $90+. I'm also pleased to support a small honest business. I'm also impressed by the quality of the nice dark bottle; admittedly sometimes small business packaging looks a bit sloppy. Looking forward to exploring more products.

It works

I saw a similar product for $175.00 from another company and was waiting for it to go on sale when I found this one! I have been using it every day for about 2 weeks ( I started out once or twice a week) and I am really noticing a difference. I feel like my sun spots are fading. Yay! Trying it on my hands too. Also extra stars for unscented.

Trust me, we buy our ingredients from the same type of distributor as other skincare companies. They are the same ingredients. The difference is they choose to get more profit on each item sold. I also feel there is a myth that consumers think more expensive equals better. I was thinking about doing a small series - blog or IG story- on ingredients and how much they cost and how much it costs to make a serum (face product) or body product. I think people would be amazed at the cost of manufacturing and how much the markup is with most skin care companies. $175.00 for a serum is absolutely crazy to me!!! Thank you very much for giving BHB a try and for giving me the boost to make a series.
