New Formulation- Advanced Brightening and Lightening Serum

We updated some of the ingredients in this formula to make it more potent with increased active ingredients.  Just as gentle as the original. 

This serum addresses hyperpigmentation and helps fade dark spots caused by UV damage and post-acne marks.  This serum is formulated with a cocktail of potent lightning actives that work together to help fade discoloration. 

Some ingredients may contribute to the accelerated fading of micro-bladed or tattooed eyebrows. Avoid these areas.

Patience is essential when using brightening serums.  Lightening of hyperpigmentation and scarring may be apparent as early as 30 days, but our independent results showed that it takes an average of 60 days to see noticeable improvements. Your skin will look fresher and brighter within a couple of weeks. 

ACTIVES

Undecylenoyl phenylalanine 2%- A skin-brightening ingredient. It is also known for its ability to inhibit melanin production, leading to a brighter complexion. Reducing melanin production helps lighten dark spots and even out skin tone.  Helps fade post-acne marks.

NEW - Phenylethyl Resorcinol- It surpasses kojic acid in strength, safety, and stability, outperforms hydroquinone in safety, and is an effective addition when using AHAs and vitamin C in addressing skin lightening and hyperpigmentation concerns.

Alpha Arbutin 1.5%-  Helps fade dark spots, sun spots, and melasma by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase, which is involved in melanin production. It can also help protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. 

Licorice Root Extract- 2%. This can inhibit melanin production, helping to fade dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. It can help even out skin tone and promote a brighter, more even complexion.

DIRECTIONS:

Spot treat a thin layer 1-2x a day over discoloration or acne scars. 

Shelf life- 6 months

• In a study of 36 patients with age spots on their hands, the side treated with 2% undecylenoyl phenylalanine showed significant lightening compared to the vehicle-only side after 12 weeks. 100% of participants in the active group saw a partial response, with over 63% experiencing moderate improvement.

Alpha Arbutin

• Melanin Reduction: Studies on human skin models show that α-arbutin can reduce melanin content to 40% of control levels by inhibiting tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for pigment production.
• Efficacy vs. Placebo: In an 8-week randomized, double-blind trial of 102 women, a 2.5% arbutin formulation significantly decreased melanin levels, with clinical improvement noted in 75.8% of melasma patients and 56% of those with solar lentigines (sun spots).
