This 35% Urea Gel is specially formulated to help treat stubborn dry and rough skin on your body. It also exfoliates dead skin and helps soothe keratosis pilaris, eczema, psoriasis, and calluses. The added ceramides help protect your skin barrier.

What is the difference between our urea gel and urea cream? The urea gel has a water gel base and does not contain oil. The urea cream contains oil and has a cream base.

Key ingredients

Urea: Treats dry/rough skin and calluses and accelerates the softening and shedding of the outer layer of the skin.
Lactic Acid: Softens and sloughs off the top layer of skin cells, allowing the urea to penetrate your skin easily. Helps with cell turnover.
MSM: Reduces inflammation and detoxifies the skin.

Directions

Apply twice daily. After one week, decrease to one time a day, 4-5 times a week. Eventually, you should only need the gel a few times a week. This is not meant as an all-over body moisturizer- it is a body treatment gel.

I've been using the BHB urea cream (which I highly recommend, too) for over a year and decided to try the water gel as it is 'lighter'. I like it as it spreads evenly and not heavy. I can't speak to improved skin 'issues' as I mostly have basic aging-skin concerns (i.e. some dryness, some crepiness, etc) and I believe the urea (gel) does improve basic skin texture. It contains a high concentration of urea so I alternate nights, using it for body skincare with retinol-containing ingredients, etc. I've had no adverse affects. My impression of BHB is they are professional and make good products (I plan to try other things; have heard great reports about BHB body oils and washes). In summary, I recommend the urea gel if you are looking for a high concentration of urea in a good formulation!

Relief!

At 73, my first eczema - I had no idea it is so crummy. Urea Water Gel to the rescue - it started the healing quickly and kept at it. By the end of the 1st twice-daily week, it was becoming a non-issue - what a relief. Of course, I hope I never need it again, but I’ll know where it is if I should. Very effective product with ingredients I feel good about.

The best body oil!

I’ve tried several brands of body oil, but Bay Harbor Beauty is the best, and it’s priced fairly!! Vanilla Sandalwood has been my long time favorite, but I recently tried the new vanilla that’s similar to Tom Ford and I LOVE it! It’s a cozy scent - not too strong.
